ENERGY
When constructing our new building, we not only opted for a location that supports the regional economy, but also for green electricity! We are proud to cover 90 per cent of our needs from stored solar energy. And we want to go even further: Our goal is to be a carbon-neutral company that is completely independent of conventional electricity. For our planet and for the people.

COMPENSATION
Eigenart sees itself as part of the environment. Therefore, in order to reduce our ecological footprint, we continuously put the processes, materials, supply chain and manufacturing methods of our products to the test.
REFORESTING FORESTS
At our office in Bergisch Gladbach, we have been observing how the tree population has been dwindling dramatically since 2015. Since 2019, we have been counteracting this by reforesting large areas in the vicinity of our company headquarters, the Eigenart forest.

E-MOBILITY
Our sustainability approach does not stop at the topic of mobility. Our goal is to convert all company cars to e-vehicles by 2022. Already 60 percent of our vehicles are electric.
